Well this past week the Montwood Rams took the "Super" out of that District by eliminating the Midland Lee Rebels from the first round of the Texas State Playoffs. The Rams defense refused to allow the Rebels to gain any momentum. Rams QB Louie Tinoco showed much poise and leadership in his first playoff appearance though much of his success is owed in part to his receiving core who caught everything thrown their way. Up next for the Rams, Mansfield High. Will the Montwood Rams continue to click on both sides of the ball?     Conquistadores eliminate the Chapin Huskies! Big Bad Who? Big Bad Blue that's who! Coach Jesse Perales and staff have the Conquistadores singing to the fine tune of BI-District Champs. Eliminating the talented Chapin Huskies from the Texas State Playoffs, on the road, speaks volumes of the 2008 Del Valle Conquistadores. Winning 6 of their last 7 games, the Conquistadores have no intentions of ending that win streak anytime soon. Next for the Conquistadores will be Abilene Cooper. Crushing the Mustangs of Burges high 46-10 tells us that the Rangers are in total control and looking for more! Up next for Riverside will be Big Spring. Now the Riverside football program and die hard Rangers fans are no strangers to the 2nd round of the Texas State Playoffs. No question that Riverfront will be "rock'n" come Gameday!
